Can events be paused?

An event normally has a start / end date and as such cannot be paused. However you can choose to hide events.

In order to hide events, you could do the following:

1. Create a new tag called "Paused"

2. Assign all the events that you wish to 'pause' with this event (CTRL+Click on an event and pick from under Tags...)

3. Create a new Smart Filter and exclude all events that contain this tag.

Now, this new Smart Filter could in effect become your default view where all such events have been hidden. When you wish to see these again, simply click on "Unfiltered" from the top Smart Filter bar.
